How reviews work
Every review starts with an actual visit. Not a press invite, not a promoter's pitch, not a rewrite of someone else's forum post. We show up, spend our own money, and write down what happened: what it cost, how it felt, and where the catches were.
Venues are scored 1 to 10 across five categories: girls, safety, vibe, drinks, and value. The overall score is a straight average. No venue can pay to change a number, and none has tried and succeeded. When a place is a tourist trap, we say so in the review and in the Safety & Scams guide.
How fresh is this?
Prices in Medellín move, and gringo prices move faster. Every review carries a "last updated" date, and the prices guide gets rechecked regularly. If a number on the site is stale, the date tells you how stale. Bookmark the pricing and safety guides: those are the two pages worth re-checking before every trip.
No sponsors, no kickbacks
We have no partnerships with any venue on this site. Nobody comps our covers, nobody approves our drafts, and warning posts stay up even when a venue would prefer otherwise. That independence is the entire point of the site.
